• Substitute Teacher, Washington Township Public Schools
• Student Teacher, Cumberland Christian School

Other experiences that have made me a better teacher:

• Camp Counselor & Activities Director for two summers in Germany
• Co-leader of after school program for K-6th graders 
• Junior high youth group leader at GCCC
• Sunday School teacher

Sports, hobbies, special interests:

• Reading
• Traveling
• The beach
• Spending time with family and friends
• Watching sports (especially basketball)

Why I became a teacher:

              Simply put, God called me to be a teacher.  One of my favorite verses is Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans for a hope and a future.” While on a mission trip in Germany, I gained a better understanding of this verse. God changed my plans and led me towards teaching, and I am so thankful that He did! 

What I love about teaching:

              The greatest thing about teaching is it allows me to use my God-given talents along with my desire to minister to students on a regular basis.  I love watching students grasp a concept and become excited about learning.  As a teacher, three of my favorite words to hear are, “I get it!” It is so amazing to work with students and help them grow into the people God called them to be. 

Why I came to Bethel Prep:

              I wanted to work in a school where the faculty and students strive for excellence.  After I heard Pastor Bob talk about Bethel Prep, I knew this was where God wanted me. 

What I look forward to at Bethel Prep:

              I am excited to be a part of a school where the Bible is actively and accurately taught.  I am looking forward to teaching the students about how God relates to their lives and to learning. I also look forward to working with the faculty, parents, and students God brought to Bethel Prep.
