Where I came from:
Before Bethel Prep, I worked at Verizon Wireless for 5 years. I ended my time
there as the Operations Manager of the Cherry Hill Store. I loved what I did
there, and it has given me plenty of experience in customer service and
organization, which is so important for my new job at Bethel Prep! I attended
Liberty University for two years (2000-2002), and studied Special Education.
After two years of school, I took some time off to help care for a child that had
been diagnosed with Leukemia. It was an experience that has forever changed my
life, and I will always have a special place in my heart for children.
How I came to Bethel Prep: I
have loved this school since the beginning! My sister, Lisa has been teaching
here since 2006, and I have been asking God to open up a door for me to join
the staff for years. God heard my prayer and opened up an opportunity for me. I
jumped at the chance, and have never been more excited!
What I love about Bethel Prep: This
entire school, the students, parents, faculty, and staff are such an amazing
family! It is such a different experience, being able to talk about God and
serve Him as my job. There is never any moment where I doubt I am in the right
place. A place where I can pray with my coworkers and the students, and where I
know I am being prayed for. Who would want to be anywhere else?
My other interests and activities: I
have a strong passion for short-term missions, and have traveled to Jamaica, Ireland,
Germany, France, Hungary, Switzerland and quite a few more to serve on work and
ministry projects, and to share JesusŐ love with other cultures. I have also
been a Sr. High youth leader for the past three years, and I am currently
serving as a youth leader at Discovery Church in Washington Township. I also
love to play the piano, violin, and cello.
My Future Plans: My
plan is to hopefully complete my degree at Eastern University through their
adult education program. I would love to be a teacher at Bethel Prep one day,
but I have learned that God has His own set of plans for me, and He always
knows better than I do! I am trusting Him one footstep
at a time!
